Theoretical bases of learning Spanish for teaching as a foreign language

Name of the sample: The variation in the Cervantes Institute Curriculum Plan

Subject: Spanish as a global language

Date: First semester, course 2018-19

Justification: In the sample that I attach, I reflect on the variations that influence the PCIC. I also give some examples and more detailed information about the guidelines that are followed in the Plan in order to analyze some of the DELE audios that are at the end of the work. Finally, I speak a little about the concept of international Spanish and what this implies.

This subject allows me to reflect on the importance of understanding the magnitude of Spanish in the world, its implications, influences, varieties, variations and other issues directly related to pedagogy in the teaching of ELE. Although Spanish is a language, it has many contexts, cultures and angles that can be distinguished under different points of view that enrich it and make it a language with a wide range of ways of learning and teaching.

Name of the sample: Essay "The teaching of ELE and the development of learning under a social context"

Subject: Sociocultural theory and language learning

Date: First semester, course 2018-19

Justification: In this essay that I discuss, I develop the idea of the influence of carrying out ELE classes under the sociocultural theory of Lev Vygotsky, since it is not the same to teach Spanish in a traditional way than to do it in a communicative way, having this theory as a reference.

This subject made me understand the importance of teaching ELE classes in a communicative way, since we are social beings and communication is our means to express ourselves and the main tool of interaction with others, whether they are the same or a different culture. Now, when carrying out the teaching process, I keep in mind that my students truly develop their communication skills and thus achieve effective communications at all levels.
